Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as a certified clinical social worker that is bicultural and bilingual. She has experience with diverse groups, including LGBTQ+, individuals with substance use issues, victims of violence and sexual assault within intimate relationships, etc. Mrs. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since 2019. The current telehealth services for mental health are available. Dr. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team which focuses on postpartum and pregnant women, specializes in trauma-informed healthcare and provides the EMDR therapy to adults. She also offers both private and group therapy, treatment with medication, referral for specialty care and Women's Support groups. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society, aiding homeless animals to find permanent new homes. She's committed to The Best Friends slogan "Save Them" and is working to turn Los Angeles into an animal-free city. Amanda is an individual who strives to make the most of her every moment.
